PEST Consultants are positioned to assist you and/or
your staff to extend and develop additional and industry recognised Pest
Management skills.
Many
Pest Management Technicians undertake training and assessment in only the basic
Units of Competency which is enough to gain their state or territory occupational
license but do not realise that with a little further study they can gain a
full industry recognised Trade Qualification - Certificate III Asset
Maintenance (Pest Management - Technical).
This additional study can, in most cases, be also supported financially
by accessing traineeship funding, providing the candidate has not participated
in a previous traineeship program and is employed by a qualified Pest
Management organisation.
A full
trade qualification in any industry, and particularly in the Pest Management
Industry, makes the holder of the qualification a much more valuable employee
and more importantly makes the holder of the qualification more employable as
they have automatically placed themselves ahead of other applicants when
applying for an industry related workplace vacancy. Holders of formal qualifications are also
those normally considered for supervisors positions in larger organisations.
